'Motor City' Adds Gary Oldman As Villain

Gary Oldman's Oscar nomination is a very long time coming, so excuse the Englishman to get just a little cast crazy within the publish-ceremony celebration. Based on the Hollywood Reporter, Oldman is entering final discussions to experience the villain of "Motor City," a film about "a little-time hood who's presented and delivered to prison, simply to exact revenge years later to obtain back the lady he loves." Directed by Albert Hughes, who formerly helmed "It of Eli" and "From Hell," it'll turn to start shooting in April. In "Motor City," Dominic Cooper plays the hood, Amber Heard would be the girlfriend, and Oldman themself would be the "kingpin-type that has his hooks in to the lady." With talent like this, how could it fail? Even when Hughes' previous projects haven't all lit the Hollywood world burning, he's a powerful sense of dark landscapes and moral greys. Oldman and Hughes formerly labored together on "Eli," by which he performed a conniving boy of the gun attempting to stake out his devote the publish-apocalyptic America. I'd say something about Hughes' ability to obtain a good performance from Oldman, but this really is Gary Oldman, you realize? The miracle flows through him and out in to the world. Incidentally, should you haven't seen Oldman's Oscar-nominated role in "Mess Tailor Soldier Spy," get thee to some cinema.
